Saving and resetting the energy data of the FRITZ! smart plug

You can collect, display, and save in a CSV file the energy data for the switchable socket, e.g. FRITZ!Smart Energy 200, based on your specific electricity rate. You can also delete this data completely in order to prevent the energy data from an old device from falsifying the data of any new devices that you connect.

Note:All instructions on configuration and settings given in this guide refer to the latest FRITZ!OS for the FRITZ!Box.

1 Entering an electricity rate

  1. Click on 'Smart Home' in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
  2. Click on 'Devices and Groups' in the 'Smart Home' menu.
  3. Click on Edit next to the desired smart home device.
  4. If you want to measure the CO2 emissions, enter the value in kg/kWh under 'CO2 emissions'. If you only want to measure the power consumption, enter 0.

Note:You will find the consumption price and the CO2 emissions on your electricity bill and on the website of your electricity provider.

  5. Under 'Energy supply', enter the consumption price (kilowatt-hour rate) in cents per kWh.
  6. Click on 'Apply' to save the settings.
