Loading the factory settings of the FRITZ!DECT smart switch
Load the factory settings to delete all of the individual settings you have made for the FRITZ!DECT smart switch. This makes sense if you are going to use the FRITZ!DECT smart switch at a different location or are planning to pass it on to another user, for example.
You can easily load the factory settings of the FRITZ!DECT smart switch, for example FRITZ!DECT 440, by deregistering the FRITZ!DECT smart switch from the FRITZ!Box.
Note:This guide is valid for FRITZ!OS 7.50 or later. If you are using an older FRITZ!OS version, the configuration may differ or functions may not be available. You can find the FRITZ!OS version on the "Overview" page of the FRITZ!Box user interface.
- Click "Smart Home" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
- Click "Devices and Groups" in the "Smart Home" menu.
- Click the "Delete Device" button.
- Delete the device you want to load the factory settings for. Do this by clicking the
(Delete) button next to the respective device.
