• NEW Automatic detection and prioritization of video conferences and similar time-critical communication

DECT

• NEW The new 'Simple Mode' for the FRITZ!Fon focuses menus and functions on telephony and greatly simplifies operation. The adjustments primarily address the limitations of older people (accessibility) and give special attention to the needs of less tech-savvy users.
• NEW Simple SOS mode: The SOS call allows the specification of up to four emergency contacts who will be called automatically one after another. The duration and repetition of the call sequence can be specified and adjusted
• NEW Simple mode: For easier operation by users with restrictions, the following functions and more are available: After activation, the softkeys can be used as quick-dial buttons, such that each button can be assigned a phone number or function.

Home Network

• Changed The DNS suffix 'fritz.box' is no longer distributed to home network devices via DHCP by default. Home network devices now no longer automatically repeat failed name queries with the ending ‘fritz.box’. The previous behaviour can be enabled under Home Network-> -> Network Settings -> Change Network Settings -> IPv4 -> DHCP if required
